Sterling silver ingot bracelet with fossilized dinosaur bone
Unique handmade sterling silver ingot bracelet, size 5 5/8. The silver for this bracelet was melted down using a propane torch and poured into an adjustable steel ingot mold, resulting in a 3ga “slug” or blank. It was then forged to 8ga and rolled smooth using 4” wide flat rolling mill down to 10ga. Features a natural, 57.5ct fossilized dinosaur bone cabochon skillfully set in an aggressive serrated bezel. Sandcast effect texturing enhances the visual contrast.
Hallmarked JDM + STERLING & INGOT. Oxidized in liver of sulfur and carefully buffed with fine steel wool to create a distinctive aged, antique finish. A striking contrast of darkened textures and intricate stampwork is beautifully complemented by the silver’s soft, subtle luster, paying a thoughtful homage to the early phase of traditional Navajo jewelry.
